When Annie loses her husband to leukemia, she and her best friend Chris set out to raise money for the local hospital in his memory. Their plan? Create an "alternative" calendar featuring themselves—and fellow Women's Institute members—tastefully posing nude. With the help of an amateur photographer and plenty of courage, the calendar becomes a surprise sensation, drawing national attention to their quiet Yorkshire village.
